Their customers include schools, hotels, large businesses, and other independent washroom businesses who offer a rental mat service.
What did UK Mats Ltd need?
- A complete ‘Customer Relationship Manager’ which would detail all their client information, manage all delivery / route planning, and invoice all their customers at a click of a button – even with different invoicing periods.
- Stock management of both standard and custom mats.
- A ‘paper-less’ system which could be managed entirely through the software.
Challenge
Having previously trialled an off-the-shelf rental software which was terrible, UK Mats Ltd were in need of a bespoke software designed specifically for their industry. In particular, a software which was able to manage over 2000 customers (both trade and direct), manage different delivery frequencies (e.g., weekly, fortnightly, or monthly), and create daily routes that their drivers could use on a mobile phone.
Solution
UK Mats Ltd chose Service Manager to manage all of their operations. They are able to manage all of their customers, routing, stock, and invoicing on one system. All of their office staff have individual accounts, allowing the sales team to manage the customers, their operations team to manage deliveries / routing, and their accounts team to manage invoicing.
UK Mats Ltd estimate they save 40 hours per week, and hundreds of pounds per month, using Service Manager. Gone are the days of using paper as UK Mats now run an entirely paperless operation. The Service Manager app which tells each driver what mats to load for their following day and what mats to service at each site. Confirmation of service – with a customer’s signature – is completed via the driver’s mobile phone and instantly uploaded to Service Manager allowing their operations team to deal with issues almost immediately.
